Super quality, installed great, and works absolutely perfect.
Temps are at 190°F in the pan and temp at torque converter hasn’t surpassed 230°F
Also, did a flush, pan filter change, and filled everything with AMSOIL signature series just to be safe.
I tow a 3500lbs. GVWR camper all over the mountains of Montana in a 2019 Tundra and I guarantee I would be breaking 240°F consistently if it were not for this upgrade. It’s wild to me that Toyota removed this from the 2019-2021’s.
Don’t even hesitate, it’s spendy but so so worth it!
It was a very complete kit as far as the hardware, clamps, bolts, etc. The hard lines mounting brackets didn’t line up… the rear side was about 3/4” beyond the bolt hole and that hard tubing does not compress easily.. Difficult to resolve but I did. I think the kit should come with in-depth written instructions. Yes I downloaded, but for the price this kit should have instructions along with written instructions for the ODBC scanner setup too. The YouTube video was pretty complete except the guy had the camera on his head and it didn’t pick up some of the detail that I think would have been helpful. It would have been a bit of a pain to track down all the parts/clamps/etc to purchase individually but even with that, I do think the price is 30% too high. That’s just my opinion. Beyond that, the kit is complete.
Note: My 2021 tundra transmission experienced a massive transmission failure at 34,000 miles (can you believe that! A Toyota truck transmission had to be totally replaced at 34k) and I don’t tow, am 65 yrs old and dont drive aggressive at all. I bought the kit because I intend to keep this truck and want to do all I can to support longevity.
The Genuine Cooling Systems transmission cooler was highly recommended by my transmission shop. I've been very happy with the results. I tow a 6,000 lb trailer and with this unit installed, I rarely see pan temps higher than 185 degrees, whether towing or not. I have not yet towed in the mountains, but I am confident that I won't run into any trans overheating issues.
Also, it was very thoughtful that the manufacturer included (at no additional charge) and ODB-II scan tool so I can easily monitor the trans fluid temps.
Install was fairly easy. Dropped my pan temps a good 20 tp 25* pulling my bass boat. Highly recommend this add on
I don’t know what the temperature it was prior to installing it, but for what I seen I can get in the 245 ish just driving with no towing. After I added it I can see mine in the 190s and 215 the highest while towing. A must in my opinion.
I have had this on my list for a while and after installation I wish I would have pulled the trigger much earlier. Great quality parts in the kit and the installation is so clean. Functions perfectly and has my transmission fluid operating much cooler.
In addition to the easy installation, I am now getting transmission pan temps in the 185° range in hot Arizona desert heat (100° to 110°). Before the cooler install, I was getting temps as high as 240°. I left the thermostat pinned because it never gets that cold here.
The one complaint from me was sticker shock on the kit price. A lot more than I expected to pay. However when you consider the price of a new transmission it’s still cheap insurance. Had my transmission shop install it quick and easy they said and this would be the only aftermarket kit they would recommend to customers in the future for the Toyota motor. Took it towing a trailer up the mountain pass and transmission temperature was impressive at 205 degrees max. Would recommend this kit to anyone concerned about extending the life of their transmission.
I purchased the 15 row full kit, and I’ve installed it on my 2021 Tundra Trd Pro. It’s great, now I can tow with confidence and worry free.

While I did not install the unit myself, it was installed by my local Toyota dealership . The service representative told me how impressed he and the master mechanics were at the quality and completeness of the Tundra Kit. Going on to say that it was as good and actually better than an all OEM system. I am very pleased with this quality, well thought out product and am confident that it will last the life of my vehicle.
Went together as it advertised, instructions were understandable and finished fit and function where what they should be. Worth the cost.

Wow, this genuine cooling system setup was so straight forward to install, I love it. It was great not having to source all these pieces /parts separately on my own. Now that it is installed I can feel confident my 2021 tundra’s transmission will last a very long time.
I received the kit in perfect condition about 3 weeks ago, but today was the first chance I have had to install it. I had watched the videos several times so installation was quite easy. Hi quality components and everything you need except the tools. I highly recommend one of the video suggestions to put the inlet and outlet hoses on the thermostat before installation. Only had one minor issue - one of the threaded backer plates for the Sertab mounting bracket had a hole that was not threaded. Luckily I had an M6 tap on hand and took care of it. Added 1.5 qts of ATF using a Slippery Pete hand pump. Noticed it took longer to come to temperature than previous drain/fills I had performed. All in all only lost about 1/2 cup of fluid between puck removal and level check. I took it for a run on the highway - pan temperature never got above 186°F. Used to see 205°F on the regular, even without a trailer. The big test will be later this fall, towing a 5000 lb travel trailer to the Blue Ridge Parkway. I wish I had this earlier this summer during a trip from NC to Yellowstone! Crossing the Bighorn Mountains in Wyoming is what convinced me I needed this.
Before installing this kit my truck's transmission was reporting temperatures around 260-290 F. After installing the kit it now reports temps below 200F. Simply amazing!!!
I love that the kit has everything that you need so you’re not tracking down parts or trying to figure out what works with what. I haven’t gotten to tow with this kit yet but prior to install I was seeing temps up as high as 240. Since the install I have yet to see 200.

The instructions and YouTube videos made this very straightforward and fun. My transmission temps have lowered some.. The converter temp reading reaches upwards of 220-225 but the pan temp usually holds around 195-200. These temps are about 20-25 degrees cooler since installing the kit.
After deliberating for a year or so about the purchase of the 15 row kit I finally pulled the trigger. I received the kit within a few days and it was packed up great and everything was there undamaged. I got my auto shop to do the install and it took around 4 hrs of labor on their part and cost around 550$ to have installed. The kit was a bit over 1300$ to buy with shipping. The kit went together cleanly and ill be setting up the veepeak obd on my phone today to be able to check temps. My tech said the install went together seamlessly and he didn't have any complaints. Only thing I'd like would be a printed set of instructions. I went to the ups store and printed 2 sets of quality color instruction sets. One for me and one for the shop to use for install. Im ocd about my records so I appreciate any paperwork I can file away for records. Not really needed but I would appreciate them. Im about to take a few thousand mile trip for the end of summer and am excited to know my truck will be cool and issue free from now on. I think this kit was expensive but for a person like myself thats not going to put the time into finding individual parts, it is wonderful. High quality and issue free. Just have to pay for good stuff.
Very nice kit with straightforward installation. I've only driven it once for about an hour and 192 was the highest it got.
Everything from the instructions, the fittings, the 15 row cooler, to the customer service is absolutely top notch! Had a dealership do the install and they were very impressed and found the kit to have everything needed. The only gripe they had was the hardware used to secure the cooler to the mounting bracket is a little longer than it needs to be, and some of the hardware was a mix of 13mm and 12mm. But that’s such a minuscule complaint I almost feel dumb for typing it.
Buy this kit, you won’t regret it!
Very good quality kit. I just wish it had paper instructions vs you tube video or both. Didnt want to take my laptop out to the garage, so everytime i needed to remember something or go to the next steps I had to go in the house.

2019-2021 Tundras don't have a transmission cooler-only a heater. This kit makes them a functional truck again.
Loved that everything needed was included and labeled! Instructions not bad either! Obviously wish it was cheaper, but ALL components are quality!
