After deliberating for a year or so about the purchase of the 15 row kit I finally pulled the trigger. I received the kit within a few days and it was packed up great and everything was there undamaged. I got my auto shop to do the install and it took around 4 hrs of labor on their part and cost around 550$ to have installed. The kit was a bit over 1300$ to buy with shipping. The kit went together cleanly and ill be setting up the veepeak obd on my phone today to be able to check temps. My tech said the install went together seamlessly and he didn't have any complaints. Only thing I'd like would be a printed set of instructions. I went to the ups store and printed 2 sets of quality color instruction sets. One for me and one for the shop to use for install. Im ocd about my records so I appreciate any paperwork I can file away for records. Not really needed but I would appreciate them. Im about to take a few thousand mile trip for the end of summer and am excited to know my truck will be cool and issue free from now on. I think this kit was expensive but for a person like myself thats not going to put the time into finding individual parts, it is wonderful. High quality and issue free. Just have to pay for good stuff.
Very nice kit with straightforward installation. I've only driven it once for about an hour and 192 was the highest it got.
Everything from the instructions, the fittings, the 15 row cooler, to the customer service is absolutely top notch! Had a dealership do the install and they were very impressed and found the kit to have everything needed. The only gripe they had was the hardware used to secure the cooler to the mounting bracket is a little longer than it needs to be, and some of the hardware was a mix of 13mm and 12mm. But that’s such a minuscule complaint I almost feel dumb for typing it.
Buy this kit, you won’t regret it!
Very good quality kit. I just wish it had paper instructions vs you tube video or both. Didnt want to take my laptop out to the garage, so everytime i needed to remember something or go to the next steps I had to go in the house.
